Learn to Include (LTI) is an Australian non-profit organisation publishing inclusive children’s books. Our fiction and non-fiction titles and other resources feature diverse families, including families with same-sex parents.

The LTI easy-to-read series was written by a primary school student and her mother - Brenna and Vicki Harding. The four books in this series are fun and bright and extremely popular with pre-schoolers and early readers. These books were created in the hope that more exposure to families with lesbian or gay parents, supported by an understanding school culture, may lead to less bullying in schools and increased self-esteem for young people who might grow up to think they are gay or lesbian.

Where Did I Really Come From? is LTI’s non-fiction book about conception, adoption and surrogacy. Unlike other books of this genre, Where Did I Really Come From? includes a wide range of conception stories and a wide range of families. Written by Narelle Wickham, Where Did I Really Come From? is essential reading for all families.
